Also previous to the AARSE 2022 conference and on the invitation of the GWEX Project (part of the World Climate Research Programme, WCRP), Zoltan Vekerdy and Diana Chavarro-Rincon introduced the Facility to the YESS (Young Earth System Scientist) Community during the side event “Reflecting on African Early Career Researchers’ role in Earth Observations and Geospatial Science in the Service of Sustainable Development Goals”.
