ESA EO AFRICA R&D Facility, in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC), are pleased to announce that:
As a result of the Call for proposals: African-led Training Material Design, five competitive African universities have been selected to develop university curricula under the EO AFRICA R&D Facility umbrella. The training materials will focus on Water and Food Security, will be integrated into the regular curricula of the respective universities and will also be made partially available through the Facility Moodle portal
In early December 2024, the selected instructors will participate in a workshop hosted at ITC-University of Twente (consortium lead partner) in the Netherlands. This workshop will offer an opportunity to work with educational specialists from the host university and leverage their extensive experience in geo-information for capacity building.
